Whispering Shadows by Jan-Philipp Sendker

Whispering Shadows by Jan-Philipp Sendker

A gripping novel covering various writing genres which keeps your attention to the very last page.

A very enjoyable book from author Jan-Philipp Sendker which commences very sadly for the main character of the book but as the story progresses Paul Leibovitz slowly begins to see light at the end of the tunnel for his problems only to be faced with other problems that were not of his making. Set in a cultural changing country, China, the plot of the story is well written and keeps the readers attention throughout the book as the reader is eager to see the outcome of each problem and how it has affected Paul Leibovitz.

Several genres are touched within the book and each plays its part within the novel. This is a book that will delight many people from a variety of reading backgrounds and is a delightful first read from the author.

I look forward with enthusiasm to the remainder of the trilogy and am sure that I won’t be disappointed.
